Hi
Cannot decide where to stay out of these two!
What are the advantages and disadvantages of both?
What kind of area is each in? Which has best location?
We want to be central and close to restaurants, sites etc etc

Both hotels are central, Marriott maybe in a better location (not averyone will agree) but it is just a chain hotel, nothing special.
If you cannot decide, have a look at Kempinski, newly opened, special rates.
