ciggy/tobacco prices

Hello All...





Having a long weekend in Prague early April and as a Smoker would like to know prices of Tobacco and Cigs..(in korunas pls)...Its been 3 years since out last visit...(Cigs were insanely cheap then)...But have read on this forum that this may not be the case now...I smoke Bensons and the Hubby smokes Samson...

I smoke Marlboro Lights I was pay%26#39;n 67 to 69 Crowns per pack in October. ($3.50 or so U.S.) It was like $5.50 in Germany so it was a nice relief.

82 KC for Marlboro

Wow.. the price went from 67k to 82k in three months. I was getting them from a corner store on Zitna for 67k during the first week in October.

You must have had some special %26#39;deal%26#39; I bought mine in August, September, November the were all around 80 KC. The last purchase was 82.

Prices have doubled since my last visit...£15 per 200 was what i paid then...!!!..Anyone know why theres such a big difference now..?

They had to bump up the taxation in order to be in line with EU legislation - it%26#39;s a nice little earner for the government as well, as anywhere :)

was there 30/12/08 to 3/01/09.20 silk cut was 74 crowns.around three quid.



we were there in 2003 and generally found everything more expensive;but still cheaper than bolton which is a bit bereft of stunning architecture!

Oh I don%26#39;t know - it%26#39;s got a nice Town Hall... :) And the Reebok Stadium...?

I paid 70 for Malborough in Kotvas last time I was there but do find Tesco to be cheaper 55 FOR L%26amp;M lights.
