gas...russia

Had on our news last night that Czech republic is hit with this crisis,can anyone please tell me what situation in prague is.

This is a situation that was not totally unexpected and so they have thought about it. There are plenty of other sources, including storage, and apparently some of the larger gas users (industry) might have their gas use restricted, but this will only be a measure of last resort.



Unless you are a very large factory owner you have nothing to potentially worry about. They certainly won%26#39;t switch off gas overnight to everybody in the whole country :)

Czech President Václav Klaus had a telephone conversation Tuesday with Russian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Aleksey Fedotov regarding lower supplies of Russian gas, and invited him for talks to the Prague Castle Today But I dont think it will affect your visit plus its not only the Czech



Republic that it will affect.

This is a good article. Czechs have made a deal with Norway to make up some of the difference. Consumers not expected to be affected (so far).
