Prague - Mahon flights

Hi Wise and wonderful people. Happy New Year.

Please can anyone advise me of a budget flight from Prague airport to Mahon (menorca). We have been granted a 14 day break from work this summer, and both Prague and Menorca have come up as return destinations for us. We have said that Prague needs to be a summer visit (hubby didn%26#39;t do -1 or 2 degrees last winter too well), and wonder if it would be possible to do a 2 centre holiday.

We could do it by flying back to the UK, but would prefer to go direct from prague to mahon.

I would be grateful if anyone could tell me of a budget airline doing this route.

Not aware of any direct flights from Mahon to Prague.

Madrid %26amp; Barcelona have direct flights to Prague.

Here is the list of flight destinations from Prague Airport prg.aero/en/…mapa_destinaci.htm - it looks as though Madrid is the closest. However, they may be some charter flights, but you would have to book a package holiday through a Czech company such as http://www.fischer.cz/online/cz - they have plenty of offers to Menorca this summer, but all flights are via Madrid, making travel time c. 7 hours.

I cannot think of any airline which would go to Mahon directly from Prague. Options would be say Iberia via Madrid - but I expect the price would be prohibitive.

The price for a week-long package is c. 12000 Crowns - about £420 at today%26#39;s rates. Whether that is good or not I have no idea ...

How about Prague and Mallorca? there are direct flights to Palma.

Wow, the whole prague forum on line at one time!

thanks for the info guys, was kind of hoping to do UK - prague - menorca - uk, but sadly looks like it%26#39;s going to be Costa del Gatwick in the middle.

Thanks for the suggestion of mallorca, but the hotel we wish to return to is on menorca, and I don%26#39;t fancy adding a ferry trip to the itinerary!!
