Hi Everyone,
We will be in Prague on Palm Sunday this year. Are there any local tradtions/festivities that take place that we may see? We are Catholic and would also want to attend Mass. We%26#39;re staying at the Unitas in Old Town. Could anyone tell us a church near there for services? I thank everyone in advance!

p.s. I forgot to also ask, will shops, restaurants, etc be closed on Palm Sunday? Or will it pretty much be business as normal?

Southphillychic,
These is a press notice from last years Easter time services from Palm Sunday thru Easter in Prague.

This might give you a general idea about Masses.
If you go to Google maps and enter Unitas Prague the map will show Unitas...with a balloon. You can choose %26quot;search nearby%26quot; then enter %26quot;churches%26quot;. area churches will pop up on the map and be listed with addresses in the side bar.
