I have already suggested to type taxi transfer in the search box above, there are far too many companies and prices to name all and that way the OP can descide for themselves which company to use .

It is not up to us to post stickies that is down to TA themselves, perhaps you could post your suggestion on .

I have been in Praguie this weekend with my girlfriend and 3 friends. We used the Prague Airport Shuttle company and they were fantastic!!!

Our driver that collected us from the airport even took us on a small tour on the way to our hotel, pointing out good resturants and bars. Throughout the whole journey he told us bucket loads of information which really helped during our stay.

And at 550ck (£18) each was it was much cheaper than someone else I know who paid nearly 800ck!!!

I would definately recommend them!!

Only one cab company (not speaking about shared rides, groups etc.) is allowed to park directly outside the terminal, I believe they charge based on zones, not actual km, as others in Prague do. Other companies may take passengers to/from the airport, however, they have to use short-term parking for visitors, they cannot drop you off/pick you up directly in front of the terminal entrance (this it is no problem at all, since the short-term parking is only a few meters away), though some will do it anyway. When being picked up by another company, you just need to wait in the short-term parking area next to the bus stop, we usually call CitiTaxi at 257 257 257. The cab operator should tell you in front of which exit the cab will be waiting, you just have to walk a few meters towards the bus stop and the short-term parking area, use the pedestrian crossing after stepping out of the arrival hall. It’s all pretty small. BTW: We always call a cab company for a ride, use the number above even for rides during your stay in Prague. It’s reliable, we never got ripped off. Don’t take taxis on streets, or agree on the price first (if you have any idea how much it should be). You’ll be fine.

I have just returned from Prague and strongly recommend AAA taxi. From the airport you can just walk out to the taxi stand (or stop by the dispatcher booth right before exiting the terminal). Our taxi ride from the airport was 525 CZK to Hybernska Street (Prague center) and on the way back it was 490CZK. I advise to always call 14014 for a cab, regardless the length of the trip and never hail a car on the street – you will get ripped off. Once you call AAA (press 2 for an English speaking operator) the dispatcher will locate you the car and the computer will tell you the cab number, or if 10-30 seconds is too long for you to hold, you can opt to receive the SMS with your car number. If will take up to 5 min for the car to show up – once the car came over in 60 sec after I hung up the phone! The ride in Prague 1 should never exceed 150 CZK, and mostly will be below or around 100 CZK. It seemed to me than when you call AAA the drivers will try to make sure the fare would be lowest possible, I even had a guy stop the meter a block before our destination for whatever reason, and on the way to the airport the other AAA driver took some short cuts and the fare was below 500 CZK… Remember to tip the driver and everyone will be happy.
