bar restaurant near seven days hotel

Hi

We are a party of 4 staying at the seven days hotel feb 10th and would appreciate any help with bars or restaurants nearby. We will be arriving after 9 pm on saturday night so dont want to waste time looking for such a place.

There is an authentic Czech restaurant up the street, V Tunich, www.vtunich.cz (its in Czech, but you can see the pictures), very reasonable and good food. No tourists.

Hello Martina and any other kind Prague experts!

My husband and I will be in Prague in February for 3 nights, lodging in Hotel Seven Days (it%26#39;s our first time in Prague and Czech Republic),

As the review is a little bit dated, are you still recommanding V Tunich as good Czech restaurant and not too pricey ?

Do you have any other nice recommandation for Czech restaurant (popular ones with good Czech food, good Czech wine and not too pricey) either in Seven Days surroundings or in other parts of Prague we could visit during our stay ?

Thank you in advance :o)

Thank you Praguepivo, it looks great ! I%26#39;ve noted the adress in my %26quot;trip book%26quot; ;o)

And what do you think about U medvídkù ?

|||

and what do you think about the followings:

- Havelska Koruna

- U zlaté hrušky

PS: when I say %26quot;popular%26quot; restaurant, I mean basic (but nice!) with %26quot;real%26quot; Czech food adn Czech feeling,

If you want something nice, but a little pricey, try Sahara Cafe at Namesti Miru.

Havelska Koruna is more like a cafeteria...

upon entering, they hand you a paper that, along with a tray, you take from station to staion (salads, hot food, desserts, etc). The food is served from steam tables, like at a buffet and your choices are marked on the paper which you hand to the cashier when leaving/paying. It is brightly lit and the seating is mostly wooden booths in bright yellow, sort of like a fastfood place.

I think you can find many, many more charming places.

|||

Thank you to both of you for your suggestion and for your advice regarding Havelska Koruna

and I noticed that there is currently an other post about places for eating in Prague, where I have noted some interesting suggestions too,

It should be good for 3 days ;o) !

Thank you again

ooooh I havent been to Legenda for years ,when we stayed in Prague 2 we went all the time and loved it,back then it was more of a student bar and there wasnt a music club but the food was great and very cheap and it had a great atmosphere.
