I%26#39;m thinking of planning a trip, and one idea that was given to me was a London - Budapest - Vienna - Prague - Munich 14 day trip. My question is
How long is the train between:
1. Budapest to Vienna
2. Vienna to Prague
3. Prague to Munich
Also, could you tell me how much (estimate) these would be? Thanks!

Budapest to Vienna - 3 hours 30 euros
Vienna to Prague - 4 hours 30 euros
Prague to Munich - 6 hours 54 euros
the above times are approximate by direct trains, the fares again just estimates.

You can get cheaper Vienna - Prague with SparScheine oebb.at/pv/…Booking_information.jsp for 19 Euros. There are only a limited number of tickets at that price per train and you really need to book on-line, for which you need a rudimentary knowledge of German, or there is a booking line that you can call. Munich to Prague is c. 61 Euros. Again, there are limited seats available at 19 Euros Budapest - Prague elvira.mav-start.hu/elvira.dll/xslms/index… but you might need to call the number at the top of the page to find out how to get these - as hardly anyone books online anyway (there is no culture of this in most of Europe) the chances are that if you are in Budapest a couple of days before travel you will be able to buy a reduced rate ticket at the station - the same applies for Vienna.
