Hi,

Myself and my girlfriend are travelling to Prague for a weekend soon. Could anybody recommend a nice restaurant for a romantic meal in prague.

Many thanks,

Hiya,

I%26#39;m flying out of Dublin on 12th February to Prague. Treating my boyfriend for his 30th birthday %26amp; our 5th anniversary which happens to be on valentines day! I have booked us a table at Gordon Ramsey%26#39;s Maze restaurant! Yes I know it will be expensive but its worth it for a once off! Don%26#39;t know if its romantic or not tho, sorry!

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion but if it is anything like his restaurant in the Ritz Calrton Hotel in Enniskerry i wouldn%26#39;t go near it. I%26#39;m told its terrible. Its like sitting in a big hall, eating small portions of bad food at very high prices.

I dont want to put you off it but i wouldn%26#39;t like to see you being robbed.

Enjoy.

%26quot;My personal favourite is Gordon Ramsay%26#39;s Maze in the Hilton Old Town. I%26#39;ve eaten there three or four times now and it%26#39;s never disappointed. The service and food are both outstanding. The only downside is the setting - it%26#39;s snart enough and comfortable, but no view.%26quot;

Vaxaholic%26#39;s post from earlier thread.

The restuarant at The Golden Well Hotel has wonderful views and excellent food and service. Not cheap though.

The Maze is everything but romantic, the food is excellent.

Romantic restaurants are Palffy Palac www.palffy.cz or the Golden Well for the view and Oliva in Prague 4 www.olivarestaurant.cz

I%26#39;ve heard good things about the Golden Well.

The standard recommendation is Kampa Park, with a view of the Charles Bridge. Very expensive.

|||

This is the problem, romance is costly! :-)

Oliva was one of our most charming stops while in Europe. The place had a woderful feel to it and great food as well. Don%26#39;t miss the creme brulee- our server %26quot;brulee%26#39;d%26quot; the sugar at the table with a hot iron from the fire. It%26#39;s a bit off the beaten path but easy to get to via metro.
