Three nights is a good period of tme to see most things in Prague. The river trips are lovely. Yes you can walk around easily but the trams and metro are also easy to use and you can get a ticket for the day. It is a fair hike up to the cathedral and Loretta area if you want to go up there which i would recommend. Also its just nice to sit on the tram and see all the different areas and keep crossing the river . Have a great time

Yes, 3 days is a good amount of time to see Prauge - I spent a couple more days, but I was really into the architecture! The public transportation is super easy, but I think you will be fine walking. As in most Euro cities, English is everywhere. I would skip the Prague card - maybe if you were on an organized tour that was taking you to most of the places it would be helpful. But since you are going on your own, you will be better off with individual entrance fees. Many river trips to choose from - they are fantastic!! The hotel I was staying in helped arrange my river excursion.

Have fun,

The Beckster
