Hi Philptono

We went to Terezin a couple of years ago by ourselves (on the bus) and just did our own tour -you can get a small guide booklet at the enterence. There were a few guided tours there, but they seemed to be private tours rather than tours provided by Terezin itself so I am not sure if you can arrive indepedently and join a tour there?

If you take the bus, it will stop just across the road from the camp. After touring the camp, take a walk into Terezin town itself (less than 10 minutes) where there is a musuem about the camp / war which is worth visiting, you can then get the bus back to Prague from outside the museum.

I wouldnt bother paying 45 euro for the private tour - the bus is very easy and you can then spend as much time in the camp as you want.

Hello philpotno - I would go with the above recommendation. You can easily do the trip yourself and save a lot of money. You will get (although maybe will have to buy) a Terezin brochure at the entrance to the Small Fortress. There are always some tours with guides, and you can always stop and listen and just do it at your own pace.

Terezin is a small town, everything within a walking distance. It%26#39;s a trip worth doing.

All the best Penny
