Has anyone stayed at the AquaPalace Hotel in Prague?

I did not see any reviews on this hotel and wondered if anyone has stayed there. We are a family with 2 kids 7 %26amp; 8 and the water park next door to the hotel sounded like something we could bribe the kids with. I know the hotel is away from town but was unsure how big of a problem that would be.

Appreciate any feedback on this.

There are no reviews because it is a new hotel. Looks like is has not been added to the Trip Advisor choice of hotels as yet.

The website states that the hotel runs a free shuttle to the metro stop Opatov, you might want to ask the timetable of this service, how often it runs.

There are of course public buses which run from Cestice to Opatov, but not sure whether they run on the weekends.

I would guess that to get to the city centre would take about an hour by public transport.

So whether it is worth staying there would depend on how much time you want to spend in Prague. It might be better just doing the water park as a day trip.

Yes a day trip is probably the right answer. I didn%26#39;t realize that it would be that far from town.

It is not far, about 12 miles from the city centre, and if you had a car, no time at all at the right time of th day. But with public transport, 20 minutes by bus, 20 minutes by metro and some waiting time....it probably adds up to an hour.
