Bars/Pubs showing football

Hi all,

I%26#39;m off to Prague on the 25th Feb, and was wondering if anybody knows of a bar/club that regularly shows football games? I%26#39;m keen to watch the Champions league fixtures on the 25th.

Thanks,

you will have no problem finding somewhere to watch the football.Around the old town or wenclasas square area there are irish bars and english bars my favourite is rocky o reillys.

I hate football so I dont know how I know the answer to your question!

Is a sports bar just off old Town square and has about 20 tv screens ,shows lots of sports.

Rocky O%26#39;Reilly%26#39;s might be showing it too.

Legends will fit the bill. They have 2 huge TV screens and about 20 small ones on the various walls all showing a variety of sports,so you will find at least one game on that you fancy.

I have watched Champions league matches in U Vejvodu but if there is Ice Hockey on the same night they prefer to show that.

Legends is fine.

There are pubs all over town that show the football, specially Champions league. Look for something like %26quot;Sportovný Pŕenosy%26quot; written on a blackboard outside.

Na Zdraví!

At least we all agree!

Jagr`s on Wenceslas Sq. will show all football on multiple screens. Its a huge sports bar owned by the famous NHL player. If you walk up the square towards the museum it is on the right about 3/4`s of the way up. It has quite an inconspicuous entrance and you have to walk downstairs to get to the large eating and drinking area.

Also, O`che`s Cuban Irish bar near the Charles Bridge does footie, plus an excellent all day breakfast washed down with classic Gambrinus.

Champions league is usually also shown on Czech TV. but not necessarily the match you want to see.

Jagr now plays for Omsk - strange choice I thought.

Saw him giving an interview on Czech TV last summer and was not impressed.
