Cesky Krumlov Castle closed?

I read that the Cesky Krumlov Castle is closed on Mondays. Is that true? We will be there Monday March 16, but if the Castle is closed...would it be open on Sat March 14 or Sunday March 15? we could change our plans. thanks for any help

looks like the castle is open from 1st April....so it will only be the gardens that you will be able to see.

Can some one please confirm this?

if that is true and it certainly appears to be from the web site that you sent me...can you walk aroung the Castle grounds...

I have never been to CK in March but last time we just saw the castle grounds (although the castle was open). We had seen the castle before and while it is lovely, we have been to many others much more interesting. And we have been to nearly 200 all over Europe.

It is definitely still worth going to Cesky Krumlov without seeing the castle if you are considering changing plans.
