As you have a %26#39;global pass%26#39;, all you have to do is buy your couchette supplement when you get to Prague - you can do that at whichever station you arrive at - the 1714 from Prague has two through carriages to Zurich, one couchette and one sleeper, but it would be most unusual if they were booked up. I think a couchette supplement is something like 30 Euros, and the sleeper possibly 60 Euros (don%26#39;t quote me on that)

From Bern you get the 0632 to Bern, and you may need to pay a supplement on that as well it is an ICE express. That is the problem with the passes - they don%26#39;t include all the hidden extras!

I think above poster meant From Zurich instead of From Bern. According to Swiss Railway site, 0632 train is IC708. An usual Inter-City train and there shouldn%26#39;t be a supplement to pay as long as the global pass covers the Swiss trains. In any case there is no supplement to pay on any Swiss domestic trains. Also just for info, the Swiss Railway site says concerning this train : %26quot;We recommend that passengers travelling from Zürich HB to Bern take the InterCity 1008 at 06:47 (Bern arr 07:45), which has enough seating capacity.%26quot;. That means I think 0632 train is often very crowded. It%26#39;s nice to know beforehand.
