I%26#39;ve done the trip a couple of times, but in my own car, not rented one.

I think you%26#39;d find it very expensive, if at all possible, to drop off your rental in another country.

So probably not a good choice. You could easily to this trip by train Prague - Vienna - Budapest.

It is a lot easier, more relaxing and cheaper by train IMO - as above, remember that you have got to get back again to return the car, and when you are in Vienna or Budapest you won%26#39;t need the car anyway as a) the public transport is very good and b) parking is a nightmare and very expensive - the same goes for Prague, but you wouldn%26#39;t be using it much there anyway.

I%26#39;ve done it in my own car as well, but only one a one-day trip to all four capitals (including Bratislava) just to see if it could be done. I sometimes drive to Vienna, but I generally get the train nowadays.
