My boyfriend and I will be traveling to Prague in May and wanted to know which section of the city is most ideal for accomodations that are within walking distance to restaurants and the major sites, including the jewish Qtr
We found a neat hotel, the Design Hotel Sax that got good reviews, but it looks very far from Wenenclas Square as well as old town, although it%26#39;s site claims it is only 30 minutes walk to the square.
The location of the Design Hotel Sax is near the Hdracany Castle. are their good restaurants nearby for us to walk to dinner?
We are looking for 4* properties and looking for a place that provides transportation services to/from both the airport and train station.
Look forward to any recommendations.
thanks

I personally loved the U Tri Bubnu. It was nice, affordable, and centrally located. It is not a %26quot;romantic%26quot; hotel. It is just cozy and clean. It is near the clock. Stay away from the W Square and stay in the old town section instead. Trust me, it is a LOT nicer and really beautiful. You are also fine across from the bridge.
