Flights - where to get the best deal?

I am trying to book flights from any London airport to Prague for the first weekend in March and I am finding the prices to be really high! Are there any particular airlines that I should be trying?

Thanks very much.

Czech Airlines prices from Heathrow to Prague are curently £104 return (going Thursday 6th leaving Monday 9th March) Is this expensive?

Emma,

What about easyjet?

If you go on the Prague airport site, there is a list of all airlines flying in and out.

Easyjet flies from Stanstead or Gatwick (convenient to Kent). I think you%26#39;ll find that their flights for the same dates are more expensive than CSA. Had it not been so, I would have advised.

Great search engine that will give you all the airlines www.skyscanner.net

|||

Same advice as above. For the dates as given above CSA is the cheapest

Using your dates the EasyJet price could be as low as 82 pounds (depending on times of course) or as high as 100 pounds.

Emma,

I was just reading in the Prague Post that Hungary%26#39;s WizzAir will begin flying Lutton to Prague. They fly Mon, Wed, Fri %26amp; Sun. The pricing for Fri March 6th-Mon March 9th is 50 Pounds.

Looks like you do have a few choices out there depending on what days you want to fly.

You are right, Martha, if you are flexible and play with the dates you can get a very good deal. For the OP, living in Kent, Gatwick is probably the best airport, Luton not so great. Sometimes what you save on the ticket, you will use up in time, petrol and parking. It%26#39;s up to them to decide.

Penney,

Emma did say any London airport and only gave the first weekend so the date parameters were not specific.

I hope she will find there are options available to her depending on her choice of day and time and airport.

I%26#39;d snap up that CSA ticket if you haven%26#39;t already.

BTW nobody would really count Luton as %26#39;London%26#39;, unless you use Ryanair or Sky Europe%26#39;s criteria (i.e. Bratislava=Vienna/Frankfurt=Hahn, etc :) )

Then again, %26#39;London%26#39; Gatwick is a bit misleading as well...
