My fiance and I will be on our honeymoon in Prague starting next Monday. We are both big hockey fans so of course we wanted to see Slavia and Sparta in action. Unfortunately, due to next week being the last week of the regular season for the Czech hockey league, each team is playing just one home game next week - on the exact same night. :( So we are stuck on which team to see. I see that both teams are doing well in the standings, so we can%26#39;t possibly make our decision based on how each team is doing. I know that Slavia plays in a newer arena, so I was leaning more towards going to the Slavia game, but maybe the older arena that Sparta plays in has a bit of charm that the newer arena doesn%26#39;t have. Price doesn%26#39;t matter, because even though Slavia tickets are pricier, tickets in both arenas are far cheaper than tickets to see our local New York Rangers in action at Madison Square Garden!
So which game should we choose to attend?

Hello mq - I hope someone knowlegeable will come aboard and give you some informed advice!
I would go to see Slavia, they might still be playing for the title, and I have never been to the new ground. On the other hand Sparta v Vitkovice might be a more even game both playing for the same place in the table.
So best regards from me, good luck with the choice and have a great honeymoon!

Sparta forever :) No, I´m joking, I´m from Prague and today I´m going on Sparta, if you want to see players who last season played in NHL like VĂ½bornĂ½ and others, go to Sparta...

We are also Rangers fans so to see a hockey game while in Prague was a requirement. We were advised to go see Slavia and I was quite impressed by the arena as it has the feel of an NHL arena. The quality of hickey was good and it was the cheapest hockey game I have ever been especially the beer compared to the Garden and it tasted a lot better:) We were told the Sparta arena is kind of a dumpy place so maybe some old time charm to that but I cant compare.
