Hi everybody,
I%26#39;m a single thirty one year old guy considering a visit to Prague in April. I work in the Middle East all year and have a chance to take a two week break, so I%26#39;m taking advantage of the situation.
For a hotel that is reasonably priced (as close to one hundred dollars as possible) is there anything close to the center of Prague, where the sights are?
Also, how many days do you guys recommend I stay? For the most part I just roam around, without much of an itenarary. Is two weeks too long?
Thanks for any help.

What about ApartHotel 5 or Hotel Galalio?
The prices are decent and he reviews are good, but what about location?
I%26#39;ve never been to Prague so I%26#39;m not familiar with city areas and locations.
Thanks in advance for any help.

These two hotels are at different ends to the city sepperated by bridges.
The Galileo is in Prague 2 and about 20- minuits walk to the Old Town .
The Apart hotel 5 is in Prague 5 and about a 15 mins walk to the Old town.
Were you wanting something closer to the center?
If so try the Cloister Inn which is a nice clean hotel or the Hastal hotel which is cheaper, more basic but clean , as always there is usually a suuplement for single rooms which is so unfair.

Thanks for the info TORII.
I%26#39;m assuming the center of the city would be best, though I may be wrong.
Are most things to do located near the center?

The majority of things centre around the Old and the Lesser towns but dont forget there is a lot more to see besides Prague ,Kutna Hora is easy to get to there are direct trains every hour from Hlavni and they take an hour. There is a local train from the main station just outside Kutna hora to get you to the town itself.

.
Another easy day trip is to Karlstejn Castle www.hradkarlstejn.cz.

I now always stay at the Hotel Betlem Club, equidistant from the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and Wencelas Square ---- in other words, right in the middle of everything.
It is safe, clean, and for Prague it is moderately-priced.
