Taxi or Bus from Airport to Mala Strana

We are due to arrive at 21.00 on a Monday evening in March and we are wondering whether to take the bus and metro or just get a taxi to our hotel in Mala Strana from the airport.

I would think a taxi will be easier and quicker, but I%26#39;m not sure.

Does anyone have any advice/price info? There will be two of us and one suitcase and we were thinking that it will be simpler just to get a cab, but have read all sorts of things about which taxi firm to use and taxis ripping people off so would welcome some pointers.

It will certainly be more simple by a taxi than by public transport. At that time of the evening, the journey should not take much more than 20 minutes.

I booked it on the phone with data autotrans on +420 602 322 602, they were there at time and there wasn´t any problem...

We have just come back and I didn%26#39;t arrange any transfer before I left. Simply walked up to CADEZ desk which is right in front of you when you walk out of arrivals and for a fixed price of CZK480 for up to 4 people you get onto an 8 seater mini bus and are taken direct to your hotel. It was so simple. Just phone them whilst there and you will get an option of English speaking operator and can book return. It%26#39;s one of the easiest transfers I have done and Cadez is the city transport company so no fear of being ripped off.

Cedaz is owned by AAA taxi company. It is a shared shuttle thus in the 8 seater if you are a single traveler and every one else is too you could, worse case scenario of course, go to seven hotels before you get to yours.
