Baa Humbug

As posted on another forum.

I must say that I am very disappointed that Trip Advisor pulled the Merry Christmas posting.....

It seems very sad(that if this is the case), that we cannot wish each and everyone a Merry Christmas etc... to one and all........

Isn%26#39;t this supposed to be the season of goodwill?

There is a lot of hard work that goes into making forums like this work(which is down to us-the TA members), who give up their time, knowledge, etc... etc......for nothing.

Surely it isn%26#39;t too much to ask, to be able to say %26quot;Merry Christmas%26quot; to everyone?

Come on Trip Advisor,(if you have pulled this topic because it has no bearing on travel)I think that on this occaision that YOU,not us,have overstepped the mark!

I agree with you Torii - without TA contributors giving their time and expertise free of charge, TA would have no business at all. So it cannot always be %26#39;my way or no way%26#39;. It would seem to me that this forum is the victim of overzealous anonymous invigilating! Humbug indeed!

I think the moderators must have a piece of holly stuck up their arses.

Surely at this time of year regular contributers on the forums should be allowed to offer seasons greetings.

and just in case you missed it.

Happy winter Solstice to you all.

(some moderator will be busy looking up what that means so they can be offended at it)
