tripadvisor.co.uk/Travel-g274707-s303/Prague…

the above site will tell you all you need to know about public transport

http://ephour.notlong.com - this will show you where your hostel is

How to get there from the airport the cheapest version

bus 119 to Dejvicka from the airport

then take a metro to either

one stop to Hradcanska and change to tram no 15 directon Holesovicke nadrazi

or

two stops to Malostranska and change to tram no 12 direction Holesovicke nadrazi

Your stop will be Ortenovo namesti, about 7 stops from either metro station

Hi - finally found somewhere to stay - we go tomorrow - Savoy - fairly near the Castle - however their website doen%26#39;t help with directions from the Airport - I guess it would be the green line A - but where would we get off and then what tram would we take?

Many thanks!

Hello Billy ( take a taxi to celebrate today%26#39;s much needed win) but apart from that....you need to take a bus 179 from the airport to station Vypich (25 minutes) and then take a tram number 22 to Pohorelec

7 stops. Your hotel is right by the tram stop.

http://joofac.notlong.com - your hotel is that red number 1

Alternatively, take 119 bus to Dejvicka, then metro to Malostranska, and then tram 22 (up the hill) to

Pohorelec (4 stops).

PL - Many thanks, very helpful - and yes it was a much needed win!!

One more question if I may please - different subject - Ice Hockey - I see there is a game between Slavia Praha and Liberec on the 30th - is it possible to get tickets or are the games aleways sold out well in advance?

Am struggling with their website!

|||

http://echabe.notlong.com - tickets are still available for either 180 or 260 KC - see the enclosed webpage. You can buy them on the day of the match. To buy them in advance you would need to register and that it is not an option since you are leaving tomorrow. So give it a try on Tuesday. The game starts at 18.15. Make sure you are there in plenty of time.

the above weblink did not work, hopefully this one will vstupenky means tickets.

There are loads of tickets left for that match - I would take my chances and roll up on the day as you need to register for the Sazka site (above) as well. Get there at about 5.15 just to be sure. It is a big arena and hardly ever sells out, except for something like the derby match with Sparta. The big crowds only realy roll up in the play-offs if they are doing well, otherwise crowds tend to vary between 4 to 8000 (11 for the derby match).

Have fun!

Once again many thanks - I%26#39;ll post a report when we return

We look forward to that and keep fingers crossed for the new year%26#39;s game! Cobblers.
