Prague Discount Hotels

WARNING FOR ANYONE BOOKING THROUGH PRAGUE DISCOUNT HOTELS.(info@praguediscounthotels.com) This company has gone into liquidation but is still advertising on internet. Friends and I paid almost £800.00 and arrived in Czech Republic on Saturday 6th December, 2008 only to find no transport or hotel as paid for. No reply to telephone calls - 13 women and a disabled child were left stranded and very much out of pocket.

How did you find accomadation ,so that others who find themselves in the same situation may be helped,you said on another post Prague is a beautifull city so hopefully it all turned out for the best but how?

www.GTAHotels.com - all discount hotels booking go through this company, so are they in liquidation?

I too have heard rumours about GTA but nothing concrete, hope the OP will come back and tell us but a lot of Newbies dont come back.

Its not a hoax. Prague Discount Hotel (hereinafter PDH) has indeed gone bust.

So, its currently in liquidation and owes big sums of money to hotels and pensions. You see, guests paid all cost the accommodation upfront to the PDH and subsequently the lodgings billed the amounts to PDH. At the end PDH didnt pay anything, didnt return phoncalls, etc. Thats where the hole came from.

Its news one-two weeks old.

their website http://www.praguediscounthotels.com/ is already only partly active, redirecting all inquiries to another website.

The company was only a mediator between hotels and guests
