Has anyone been to Telc and Trebic? If so, are they worth visiting?

...and yes, they are worth visiting, but give each at least a day. If you are staying in the area, don§t miss Slavonice or Moravský Krumlov - fredfred.net/skriker/… http://www.mkrumlov.cz/index1.php?id=55%26ot=10 which is one of the best sights in the Czech Republic - 20 enormous paintings by Alfons Mucha chronicling the history of the Slavic peoples. It is such a shame that this might be moved away to a %26#39;dead-end%26#39; part of Prague in 2010 (despite the Mucha family%26#39;s displeasure) so go and see it in its current castle setting where there are no crowds and the entry price is still affordable.

Having been to both, Telc is one of my favourite towns in the Czech Republic. They are both worth going to but I would definitely recommend staying in Telc in particular at least one night so you can suck up the atmosphere in the evening and morning.

we came across telc by accident we were stopping only for a coffee after a long drive and ended up staying for 2 nights telc is a beautiful little town well worth a visit
