Day Trip to Terezin

Is Terezin a good day trip out of Prague? I just ound out about it and it seems very interesting. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would highly recommend a visit to Terezin, no need to direct you to any specific websites, there are many and all of them in English.

The best connection is by bus (takes about 1 hour)

I went there with one of the Prague tourism groups and it was worth it. If you have been to any other concentration camps it is shocking to compare the differences.

A lot of the signs are in english but without a good guide book or details you will miss alot

If doing just one day trip I would take Kutna Hora over Terezin.

if your into seeing that sort of thing then yes i say go there i didnt go as a day trip from prague so cant tell you the best way to go i was staying in litomorice and went from there. you can get a guide book and a map from the museum. we spent nearly a whole day there as there is plenty to see. there is 2 parts to the town one is the ghetto museum and then have a walk around the town then you go to the small fortress. and if its the only trip you can do i dont suggest you go to kutna hora. i personally prefered terezin.
