I%26#39;ll be in Prague come late March and I was wondering if any of the Beer Gardens will be open. I understand that it is still very cold during this time. In the states alot of open air bars/pubs will put up tents to keep folks out of the elements. Do they do anything like this in Prague. Just curious. Thanks.

The weather can be warm or cold that time, you can%26#39;t predict anymore. Beer Gardens are well hidden. Where will you be staying? A lot of restaurants with chairs outside in the center have tents and heaters.

The only beer garden for sure open in March is Letná (it%26#39;s open all year round, BTW). The beer there isn%26#39;t very good, but the views are probably the best in Prague.
In the tourist centre you will find many places with patios by then. I would recommend you avoid them as they tend to be tourist traps. If the weather is unusually warm for the season, some of the other places might put a few chairs and tables outside as well.

And as Martina said a lot of the bars have outside areas with heating, which is great for people watching.
