I am planning a trip to Europe in June/July. I want to fly from Prague to Budapest and from Budapest to Amsterdam. I have decided to fly wizzair to Amsterdam from Budapest. Can someone please tell me what%26#39;s the airline like? How much luggage is one allowed and are the excess baggage fees high? The fares seem to be really reasonable. Do I need to book before leaving home?

DO NOT FLY WIZZ AIR. They are terrible, delays, no communication and zero customer service. Not even that cheap compared to other airlines and you may save yourself a few pounds but you can loose over 10 hours in delayed flights with no compensation...

Any chance Wizz has improved their service since your post? If not, do you have any other suggestions for flying from London to Ukraine?

If you want to fly cheap, then Wizzair will probably do the job. But they don%26#39;t fly every day, and fly from Luton, which is not that convenient. But probably some Luton Express is lurking somewhere, maybe from Victoria, not sure.
Otherwise BA flies to Kiev from London Heathrow, and Ukraine Air from London Gatwick. But their prices are most likely to be 3 of 4 times more than Wizz.
You can find all the details in the respective websites.

Thanks for the info. BMI is starting a direct flight from Heathrow to Kiev. It%26#39;s more than Wizz, but less than BA and UIA.
