Golf Yatch Hotel...?

Hi all,

I%26#39;m off to Prague at the end of Feb with my partner for 2 nights...the plan is to propose to her! I%26#39;m really stuck on the choice of hotels to stay in...there are so many to choose from!

The Golf Yatch really caught my eye (its different after all), and I was wondering if anybody has seen it, or heard anything positive/negative about it. Here is there link:

I%26#39;m also open to suggestions if anyone has any. The criteria are:

1. Must have a jacuzzi/large bath/corner bath in the room.

2. Close to all the touristy places

4. Would prefer a traditional and cozy room with historical feel as opposed to a modern day glam hotel.

4. Credit-crunch safe :) (I might check into a lower class room for the first night, and then into the better room for the second...a nice surprise post-proposal)

well it%26#39;s a boat, and not near the centre. So if you prefer a traditional and cozy room with historial feel, a boat will probably not be it. But perhaps praguepivo would give a better answer. Chris?

wow, I never heard of it before, looks, well, interesting.

It will be hard to meet all your needs but one boat (and I cant remember the name but I will go have a look there later)is very %26quot;intime%26quot; (en francais, merci)

and is just by the dancing building but probably no jacuzzi...

Of these I%26#39;d choose the number 1 here on TA, Golden Well, or a Royal Suite in the Iron Gate, but it has some negative reviews here. The Tower Suite (see their website www.irongate.cz ) looks fabulous.

Hotel Hoffmeister has one suite with a round jacuzzi in the room. Iron Gate has a strange room with an attic, where you can hardly stand up, but there is a small tub. I found it odd. If you book the golfyacht let us know how it is.

And there you have it. Always thought these types of botels, i.e. Botel Admiral, are sort of very unsavoury, if you know what I mean. Clearly my perception is wrong!

actually the albatross gets good reviews and is in a great location as well...
