Or you could pop into Jama for some authentic non Czech food, just round the corner from your hotel.

Think about U Medvidku and Bredovsky Dvur.

I will also second U Medvidku.Ok it is not a high class returant but a decent reasonably priced resturant/bar,with great local food and fantastic beer.A must stop place for me when I am in Prague.

They also have a realy good shop at the back,you can buy all sorts of beer related goodies.

Here are some suggestions I listed on a previous post. We were quite happy with the recommendations we were given, hope this helps.

U Provaznice - Very good local Czech food and atmosphere at a reasonable price in the center which is hard to find

Kolkovna - Hard to get a table and the service was definitely without a smile but the duck there was excellent and huge portions

La Bodeguita - Fun Cuban/Spanish place with live music and atmosphere, food was very tasty but not that cheap

Cafe Savoy - Went here for late breakfast so I guess you can say brunch and was excellent, beautiful interior so not to be missed

|||

All three branches of Kolkovna are great - it%26#39;s a little further from the Savic and booking is definately recommended, but the staff speak excellent English so giving them a call earlier in the day is no problem.

Kolkovna

U Medvidku
