anyone know the price return for a train from litomerice to prague and how long the journey will be thankyou

You should really consider a bus, 1 hour and about £2.50. With trains not really much faster and includes a change of trains.

click on the above website, which is also in English, enter From/to date and time. You will get many option how to get from Litomerice to Prague, you will see that all train connections need a change of trains, and take longer and are more expensive than bus. The price varies around 100Kc

The best %26quot;bus+train%26quot; option will be to use a bus shuttle from Litomerice to Bohusovice nad Ohri station, from where there are the trains to Prague center (Masarykovo station). This way the journey takes pretty the same time as by the direct bus to Holesovice. The local bus goes throw Terezin, so this option can be also used for the way from Prague to Terezin.

First class recommended (280 CZK first, 187 CZK second class return ticket + something very small, say 10-20 CZK, for the bus), as the second class can be on peak hours almost full.

The second %26quot;pure train%26quot; option is to use a service from Litomerice mesto station (down near the river) via Vsetaty (change needed) to Prague main station. Takes a little bit loger, but second class will really not be full. 305 CZK first or 203 CZK second class return ticket.
