Hi -
I have visited the Jewish Quarter - Josefov a few years back, but it was very hurried indeed. I am hoping to visit on the Sunday when I am next in Prague.
Can anyone advise what the opening hours are, and also the cost? We are not wanting to visit all of the synagogues as we are on limited time. To my memory there are different ticket types, and I believe we opted for the option that did not consist of the main synagogues - and we just viewed the architecture from the outside.
The time frame that we have for this is 10am -13:00
Would it be worth opting for a tour guide? Or are there any books to can purchase in advance - so we can understand more of the history?
Many Thanks!!

The Pinkas Synagogue, The Maisel Synagogue, The Spanish Synagogue, The Old Jewish Cemetery, The Klausen Synagogue and The Ceremonial Hall.
Opening hours: 9:00 - 16:30 (November - March), 9:00 - 18:00 (April - October). The museum is open every day except Saturdays and Jewish holidays.
Someone did post rescently that they did not think the tours were worth the money so perhaps you are best doing it off your own back

Thanks Tori!
Yes - I think we will plan to visit Josefov without a guide... Especially considering we fly back home to the UK on that Day - we may be a little pushed for time...
